Treatment protocol |
To the cell lines either 5uM Erlotinib in DMSO or DMSO (vehicle) was added 48 hours prior to RNA harvest (100,000 cells cultured for 48 hr + 0.01%DMSO (veh) or + 5uM erlotinib in DMSO)

Growth protocol |
Cell lines were maintained in DMEM (11965-092 Gibco) media containing 10% Hyclone Fetal Bovine Serum and supplemented with 5mM Sodium Pyruvate.

RNA was extracted and DNase I treatment with QIAGEN RNeasy mini kit in accordance with the prescribed protocol provided with the kit. Quality control was was performed with Agilent Bioanalyser.
