Sample type |
RNA |

|
Source name |
Celegans_OP50_8hours
|
Organism |
Caenorhabditis elegans |
Characteristics |
Strain: fer-15(b26);fem-1(hc17) Age: young adult Tissue: whole animal
|
Treatment protocol |
Animals were transferred to E. coli strain OP50 for 8 hours prior to harvest.
|
Growth protocol |
fer-15;fem-1 animals were synchronized by hypochlorite treatment and first larval stage (L1) arrest. Arrested L1s were placed onto NGM plates seeded with OP50 and grown at the restrictive temperature (25°C) in order to obtain sterile adults. After ~52 hours of growth at 25°C (young adulthood), animals were transferred to SK plates seeded either with OP50, wild-type PA14 or gacA mutant PA14. Animals were harvested at 4 hours and 8 hours after transfer.
