The MDA-MB-231, MCF7, PC3 cells were cultured in DMEM, EMEM, F-12K Nutrient Medium respectively, suplemented with 10% FBS and 1% Penicillin/streptomycin at 37°C in a 5% CO2 incubator

Total RNA (250ng) was amplified and biotin-labeled using GeneChip® 3' IVT Express target labeling kit as per the protocol from Affymetrix

Hybridization protocol |
Hybridization was performed following Affymetrix protocol. 10µg of labeled cRNA was fragmented and denatured in hybridization buffer, then hybridized on chip during 16h at 45°C with contant mixing by rotation at 60 rpm in an Genechip hybridization oven 640 (Affymetrix)

Scan protocol |
The arrays were scanned using the confocal laser (Genechip scanner 3000, Affymetrix)
