Total RNAs (100 ng) were Cy3-labeled using the Low Input Quick Amp Labeling Kit, one-color (Agilent) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

cRNA (600 ng) was applied for hybridization using the Gene Expression Hybridization Kit (Agilent) according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Fluorescent signals were detected using a SureScan Microarray Scanner G4900DA (Agilent).

Data processing |
The scanned images were analyzed with Feature Extraction Software (Agilent) using default parameters to generate quantized raw data. Features flagged in Feature Extraction as Feature Non-uniform outliers were excluded. A global mean normalization method was used.
