Hybridization protocol |
The labeled miRNAs were hybridized to microarrays in a rotating hybridization oven at 10 rpm for 17 h at 55 °C.

Scan protocol |
After hybridization, the microarrays were washed according to the manufacturer’s protocol and scanned on an Agilent DNA Microarray Scanner G2505C with the Scan Control software (Agilent Technologies).

Data processing |
The scanned images were analyzed with Feature Extraction Software 10.7 (Agilent) using default parameters (protocol miRNA_107_Sep09 and Grid: 019118_D_F_20100604) to obtain background subtracted and spatially detrended Processed Signal intensities. Features flagged in Feature Extraction as Feature Non-uniform outliers were excluded.
