Treatment protocol |
All treatments were perfomed in parallel. Salt stress was imposed on 12-d-old plants by applying 150mM NaCl for 13 days. Twenty five-d-old plants grown in the presense or absense of salt stress were subjected to heat stress (44oC) for 1h.

Plants were grown on soil mixture under controlled conditions: 21oC, 12-h light cycle, 100 mmol m-2s-1, and relative humidity of 70%

Total RNA was extracted by using Trizol reagent and purified using Qiagen RNeasy mini kit RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols
