Sample GSM1872394 Query DataSets for GSM1872394
Status Public on Oct 24, 2016
Title Col h-3R
Sample type SRA

Source name Leaves
Organism Arabidopsis thaliana
Characteristics tissue: leaves
ecotype: Col-0
age: Twenty-five-day-old plants
treatment: Treated with 44oC heat stress for 2h
Treatment protocol All treatments were perfomed in parallel. Salt stress was imposed on 12-d-old plants by applying 150mM NaCl for 13 days. Twenty five-d-old plants grown in the presense or absense of salt stress were subjected to heat stress (44oC) for 1h.
Growth protocol Plants were grown on soil mixture under controlled conditions: 21oC, 12-h light cycle, 100 mmol m-2s-1, and relative humidity of 70%
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted by using Trizol reagent and purified using Qiagen RNeasy mini kit
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing Used Tophat and Bowtie for read alignment onto Arabidopsis reference genome and Cufflinks for obtaining the FPKMs and assessment of significance of fold change
Genome_build: TAIR9
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Tab-delimited file (opens in Excel); FPKMs for Control, Salt, Heat, and Salt-Heat combination stress
