Data processing Base-calling were performed by Illumina Real-Time Analysis software v1.17.20 to v1.18.61.
Sequencing reads were mapped to Arabidopsis TAIR10 genome assembly by tophat2.0.8 using default settings. Mapped reads with of mapping score equal to or larger than 10 were counted by HTSeq (v0.5.4) and analyzed by edgeR (v3.6.2) to identify differentially expressed genes using contrasts between ABA- and mock-treated samples at each time point and false discovery rate 0.01 or 0.05 as thresholds.
