Sample GSM2190176 Query DataSets for GSM2190176
Status Public on Dec 01, 2017
Title GFP-Serum rep 1
Sample type SRA

Source name U2OS cell line
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics genotype/variation: GFP
condition: Serum
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA from U2OS cells overexpressing actin mutant G13R and those expressing GFP as control, at both normal-growth and serum-stimulation conditions. Poly(A)+ mRNAs were enriched using Dynabeads oligo (dT) beads (NEB). RT reactions and purification of cDNA templates were performed following the RNA-seq sample preparation protocol from Illumina. Each cDNA sample was sequenced on an IlluminaHiseq 2500 system.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2500

Data processing Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and masked for low-complexity or low-quality sequence
Aligned using the TopHat (v2.0.13) with the Ensembl Drosophila_melanogaster.BDGP5.78.gtf as a reference.
The transcription analysis was performed using Cufflinks (v2.2.1)
Genome_build: hg19
