Sample GSM2204545 Query DataSets for GSM2204545
Status Public on Feb 02, 2017
Title Pemphigus populicaulis replicate 1
Sample type SRA

Source name genomic DNA
Organism Pemphigus populicaulis
Characteristics tissue: Whole animal
social behavior: Solitary
genotype: Lab colony
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol DNA was isolated using a Qiagen Dneasy Mini kit (Qiagen, Valencia, CA) following the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Libraries were prepared following the steps provided in Urich et al. (2015; Nature Protocols)

Library strategy Bisulfite-Seq
Library source genomic
Library selection RANDOM
Instrument model Illumina NextSeq 500

Description processed data file: non_reference_mCG_estimates.tsv
MethylC–seq
Data processing Data was mapped to genome assemblies of each species. If a species did not have an assembled genome, a closely related species (i.e., within same genus) was used. Alternatively, if no closely related species was available, DNA methylation levels were estimated using FASTmC (Bewick et al., 2015; G3)
MethylC-seq analysis was performed as described in Schmitz et al. (2013; Genome Research).
genome build: None
processed data files format and content: Tab delimited text file. Please see metafile.txt for column headers for allc*.tsv.bz2 processed data files. Please see metafile2.txt for column headers for non_reference_mCG_estimates.tsv. The text files with the processed data are available in a tar archive on the series record.
