RNA was isolated from gliomaspheres and tumors samples using the Qiagen RNA isolation kit (RNeasy Kit, Qiagen).

Cells were plated at 5000 cells/100mL/well of a 96-well plate and grown for 5-7 days. Cell number was assessed using Dojindo Cell Counting Kit-8 (Dojindo Molecular Technolo-gies Inc.)
