Hybridization protocol GeneChip arrays were scanned by GeneChip Scanner 3000 7G according to the Affymetrix Expression Analysis Technical Manual.
Scan protocol The data were analyzed using GenePattern pipeline: RMA method and Human Entrez Gene custom CDF annotation version 18 was used for the normalization. Background data was filtered by excluding all genes that did not have at least one expression value exceeding the median plus 2 standard deviations of the Affymetrix negative control expression.
