Library strategy: DNA-Seq Basecalls performed using CASAVA version 1.8. DNA-Seq reads were aligned to the AnoCar2.0 genome assembly using bowtie v2.2.8 with default parameters. PCR duplicates and reads mapping to multiple genome positions were filered out from the alignments. RNA-Seq reads were aligned to the AnoCar2.0 genome assembly using HISATv2.0.4 Genome_build: AnoCar2.0 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: VCF files were produced using bcftools v1.3.1
