Status Public on Dec 31, 2017
Title DMH-D-Fed-111
Sample type SRA

Source name dorsomedial nucleus
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57/BL6
nutritional state: Fed
batch: 1
Treatment protocol Male mice with a paternal Snord116 deletion (B6(Cg)-Snord116tm1.1Uta/J - JAX stock no 008149) were either ad-libitum fed or fasted for 24-hours prior to brain dissection.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Hypothalamic nuclei were laser-capture microdissection from cryosections using a P.A.L.M Microlaser system, and RNA extracting using the miRNeasy micro RNA extraction kit (Qiagen).
Total RNA was amplified using an Ovation RNA-Seq System V2 (NuGEN), after which cDNA libraries were prepared using the Encore Rapid DR Multiplex System (NuGEN).

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2500

Description laser-captured hypothalamic nucleus (region)
