Status Public on Jan 15, 2018
Title whole blood taken from sample 5662
Sample type genomic

Source name 5662
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics familyid: 566
twinid: 2
gender: F
zygosity: DZ
Treatment protocol NA
Growth protocol NA
Extracted molecule genomic DNA
Extraction protocol Genomic DNA was extracted from frozen whole blood samples using a standard cell lysis, proteinase K digestion, phenol/chloroform, ethanol precipitation method.
Label Cy5 and Cy3
Label protocol 500 ng DNA from each sample was sodium bisulfite-treated using the EZ-96 DNA Methylation-Gol Kit (Zymo Research) according to the manufacturer’s standard protocol.

Hybridization protocol Samples were processed according to the Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation450K BeadChip (Illumina) protocol with the exception that 7ul of bisulfite treated material was input into the whole genome amplicifaction reaction instead of 4ul.
Scan protocol Samples were assessed using the Illumina Infinium HumanMethylation450K BeadChip (Illumina) using a Illumina iScan System (Illumina).
Description whole blood taken from sample 5662
Data processing Data was imported using the R package methylumi methylumIDAT function. Data was then pre-processed in the R package wateRmelon using the pfilter and dasen functions.
