Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Plasma/Serum RNA Purification Kit using Norgen Biotek (Cat#55000)
a standard library preparation workflow using Norgen's Small RNA Library Prep Kit for Illumina (Cat# 63600). Six microliter of each RNA sample was used as input. The workflow includes the following steps in sequence - 3' adapter ligation, 5' adapter ligation, reverse transcription/cDNA synthesis and then the indexing PCR. The final library is then subjected to column clean-up before resolving on a 6% TBE PAGE gel for size selection. The target band (~141-144 bp) is then excised from PAGE gel and purified

Library strategy miRNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection size fractionation
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Description miRNA
Data processing Cutadapt - 3’ adapter sequences removed, aligning the reads to miRBase (version21), reads are tallied to generate total counts for each miRNA, statistical significance (p-value) between 2 or more samples is calculated to generate differential expression profiles
Genome_build: miRBase (version21)
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: 58_samples_Readcount.tab- Readcounts of all samples for differential expression
