Description
Fear conditioning in rats leads to long term memory (LTM) formation. A central substrate for this type of LTM is the basolateral amygdala. We sought expression changes specific to LTM at 6 h following conditioning. The effect of isoflurane, an effective amnestic agent, was also assessed.
