Following fragmentation, 10 microg of cRNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on GeneChip HG 133 Plus 2.0 Genome Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 400.

The data were analyzed with RMAExpress using Affymetrix default settings and were normalized according to the quantile method (Bolstad BM, Irizarry RA, Astrand M, Speed TP. A comparison of normalization methods for high density oligonucleotide array data based on variance and bias. Bioinformatics 2003;19:185-93). After normalization, the intensity values below 30 were set at 30.T
