Sample GSM3384877 Query DataSets for GSM3384877
Status Public on Apr 08, 2019
Title 03_brain_d0ZT8_1
Sample type RNA

Source name brain (ventral part of telenchephalon, hypothalamus and pituitary), SD (16 h before the transition to LD), replicate 1
Organism Oryzias latipes
Characteristics tissue: brain (ventral part of telenchephalon, hypothalamus and pituitary)
gender: female
Treatment protocol Medaka kept under SD conditions were transferred to LD conditions. Ventral part of telenchephalon, hypothalamus and pituitary were collected from six fish every 4 h for three days during this transition
Growth protocol Medaka fish (Oryzias latipes) were obtained from a local dealer and kept outdoor.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was prepared from three fish (n=2) to duplicate our observations using RNeasy tissue kit (QIAGEN).
Label Cy3
Label protocol cDNA synthesis and cRNA labeling reactions were performed with the Low Input Quick Amp Labeling Kit (Agilent Technologies).

Hybridization protocol Labeled cRNA was purified with RNeasy mini spin columns (QIAGEN) and hybridized using the Gene Expression Hybridization Kit (Agilent Technologies).
Scan protocol After washing with Gene Expression Wash Buffer (Agilent Technologies), the slide glass was scanned on a Microarray Scanner (Agilent Technologies).
Description Gene expression under 16 h before the transition to LD.
Data processing Microarray data were analyzed using the GeneSpring software (Agilent Technologies).
