DNA was cross-linked with protein of interest using formaldehyde. After immunoprecipitation using the antibody against the protein of interest, DNA was purified by phenol:chloroform extraction.

OSCs were grown at 26°C in culture medium prepared from Shields and Sang M3 Insect Medium (Sigma) supplemented with 0.6 mg/mL glutathione, 10% FBS, 10 mU/mL insulin, and 10% fly extract (Saito et al. 2009).
