Status Public on Sep 17, 2019
Title RNAseq_CS_rep71
Sample type SRA

Source name uterin carcinosarcoma
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics anatomical site: uterus
Sex: female
age: 65-69
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted using RNeasy Micro kit (Qiagen).
Stranded mRNA HT Sample Prep Kit (Illumina) was used with 200 ng of total RNA for the construction of sequencing libraries.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing Illumina Casava1.8.2 software used for basecalling
Sequenced reads were mapped to hg19 using bowtie2-2.2.3.
Reads Per Kilobase of exon per Megabase of library size (RPKM) were calculated using RSEM-1.3.0.
Rsem.genes.results file has columns named TPM and FPKM. Each columns represent Transcripts Per Million mapped reads and Fragments Per Kilobase of transcript and Million mapped reads for each gene.
Genome_build: hg19
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Tab-delimited text files include RPKM values for each sample.
