Growth protocol Cells were grown in DMEM with supplemented with 10% (w/v) fetal calf serum, 50 ug/ml gentamycin, 100 ug/ml kanamycin and 1% (w/v) glutamine at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere consisting of 95% air and 5% CO2.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Trireagent extraction of total RNA was performed according to the manufacturer's instructions, followed by RNA clean up with Qiagene kit.
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA was prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 150ng total RNA (GeneChip® Whole Transcript Labeling Assay Manual, 2007, Affymetrix).
 
Hybridization protocol Following fragmentation, 10 ug of cRNA were hybridized for 17 hr at 45C on GeneChip Mouse Gene 1.0 ST Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450.
Scan protocol GeneChips were scanned using the Hewlett-Packard GeneArray Scanner GC3000.
Description Gene expression data from cells transfected with no gene recognition scramble plasmid
Data processing The data were analyzed with Robust Multichip Average (RMA) using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method. The trimmed mean target intensity of each array was arbitrarily set to 100.
