Sample GSM3777060 Query DataSets for GSM3777060
Status Public on Jul 13, 2020
Title JS3_R1
Sample type SRA

Source name Seed
Organism Cicer arietinum
Characteristics genotype: JGK 3
tissue: Seed
development stage: Late embryogenesis (S3)
Growth protocol Plants were grown in natural field conditions and seeds undergoing different stages of development were harvested from field-grown plants.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was isolated followed by preparation of small RNA sequencing libraries using TruSeq Small RNA Sample Prep Kit (Illumina Technologies).
Small RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using Illumina's standard protocols.

Library strategy ncRNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection size fractionation
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Description S3_R1
Data processing Data obtained in FASTQ files were processed to remove adapter sequences using cutadapt (v1.12) and low-quality reads using qrqc package in R.
High-quality filtered identical reads were collapsed into a unique reads to estimate abundance of small RNAs at different stages of seed development and leaf tissue.
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: FASTA files containing non-redundant reads with their read counts.
