Sample GSM4118666 Query DataSets for GSM4118666
Status Public on Oct 12, 2019
Title C4-2B-TaxR_10nMDocetaxel_48hrs
Sample type SRA

Source name C4-2B-TaxR cells treated with 10 nM docetaxel for 48 hrs
Organism Homo sapiens
Characteristics cell line: C4-2B-TaxR prostate cancer cell line with resistance to taxels
treatment: docetaxel
Treatment protocol C4-2B-TaxR cells were seeded into 6 well plate and, next day, cells were treated with vehicle, 10 nM docetaxel, and 2 microM SR2211 for 48 hours.
Growth protocol C4-2B-TaxR cells were cultured in RPMI supplemented with 10% FBS and 5 nM docetaxel. Cells were grown at 37℃ in 5% CO2 incubators.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted using the TRIzol Reagent (Invitrogen) from the treated cells.
RNA-seq libraries from 1 µg total RNA were prepared using Illumina Tru-Seq RNA Sample Prep Kit, according to the manufacture's instruction.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing Sequencing was perforemd on an Illumina HiSeq 2000 sequencer.
The FASTQ-formatted sequence data were analyzed using a standard BWA-Bowtie-Cufflinks workflow.
Sequence reads were mapped to GRCh37/hg19 assembly with BWA and Biotie software.
The Cufflinks package was used for transcripts assembly, quantification of normalized gene and isoform expression, and analysis of different expression.
Genome_build: hg19
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: abundance measurements
