Poor-quality reads (score < 30) were trimmed using Trim Galore! (ver.0.4.0). The resulting reads were aligned to the Callithrix jacchus genome (Callithrix_jacchus-3.2.1) using STAR aligner (version 2.5.3a). The mapped reads were counted by featureCounts (1.5.2) Genome_build: Callithrix jacchus-3.2
