Treatment protocol |
Spheroid cultures were established by seeding 1.8x10^4 cells/well into CorningĀ® CostarĀ® Ultra-Low Attachment 6 plate. After 72 hours the medium was complemented with 10% FBS and the spheroids were grown for a week in complete medium. The visible spheroids were transfer then into a cell culture flask and leave them to attach.

Growth protocol |
Human melanoma cell lines were maintained in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% foetal bovine serum, 300 mg/l L-glutamine and antibiotics. Resistant melanoma cell lines were maintained in the same medium containing PLX4720.
