Title |
Normal liver, 3 (U133A) |
Sample type |
RNA |
Source name |
Normal liver
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Characteristics |
tissue: liver
Growth protocol |
Freshly frozen PDACs, metastatic liver and normal pancreas samples were obtained with full ethical approval from the host institutions.
Extracted molecule |
total RNA |
Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was extracted from tissues with TRIzol Reagent (Invitrogen Life Technologies) according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Total RNA from normal liver was purchased from Ambion (Invitrogen).
Label |
biotin
Label protocol |
Biotinylated cRNA were prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 10 ug total RNA (Expression Analysis Technical Manual, Affymetrix).
Hybridization protocol |
Following fragmentation, 15 ug of cRNA were hybridized for 16 hr at 45C on GeneChip Human Genome U133A Array. GeneChips were washed and stained in the Affymetrix Fluidics Station 400.
Scan protocol |
GeneChips were scanned using GeneChip Scanner 3000.
