Sample GSM5555527 Query DataSets for GSM5555527
Status Public on Sep 04, 2021
Title BC1: Blood monocyte EAE CE rep1
Sample type SRA

Source name blood-monocytes
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics strain: C57BL/6
gender: male
tissue: blood-monocytes
age: week 12
genotype: wild type
treatment: CE-EAE
Treatment protocol Cold exposure at 10 °C for 2 weeks with an initial acclimatization period of 5 days at 18°C and 5 days at 14°C
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Tissues were removed, flash frozen on dry ice, and RNA was harvested using Trizol reagent. Cells were sorted into RLT buffer and their RNA extracted using Qiagen RNeasy kit. Illumina RNA Kits were used for the construction of sequencing libraries.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols
TruSeq stranded mRNA kit

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Data processing The reads were mapped with STAR aligner v.2.5.3a to the UCSC Mus musculus mm10
reference. The average mapping rate is 80 %.
The transcriptome metrics were evaluated with the Picard tools v.1.141
The table of counts with the number of reads mapping to each gene feature of the UCSC Mus
Genome_build: musculus mm10 was prepared with HTSeq v0.6p1
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: Matrix table with raw gene counts for every gene and every sample
