Treatment protocol |
No treatment for young and old control replicates. Adipose-derived stromal vascular fraction cells were administered to 23 month old female Fisher 344 rats via single tail vein injection of 10^7 cells. Coronary microvessels were fershly haarvested 4 weeks later.

Growth protocol |
Coronary microvessels were freshly isolated from branches off the left anterior descending artery in the apical region.

RNA was isolated from ≥ 5 microvessels from pooled within the group using RNAeasy Micro plus kit (Qiagen). Libraries were prepared using the Universal Plus mRNA-Seq with NuQuant (NuGEN(TECAN) Cat# 0520-24).

Data processing |
Raw sequences were checked for quality values using fastQC v0.10.1. Quality trimming was not deemed necessary. The sequences were directly aligned to the Rattus norvegicus reference genome assembly (rn6) using Star version 2.6. Read counts for gene regions were obtained with HTSeq v.0.10.0 using Ensembl annotations Genome_build: Rn6 Supplementary_files_format_and_content: htseq-count derived matrix table with raw gene counts for every gene and every sample.
