Sample GSM5885580 Query DataSets for GSM5885580
Status Public on May 15, 2024
Title FourWT0m [WT - 1]
Sample type SRA

Source name Yeast cell
Organism Schizosaccharomyces pombe
Characteristics strain: WT972
genotype: wild type
Growth protocol Cells were grown to log phase using YEA media at 30°C.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Asynchronous growing log phase cells were collected and lysed using glassbeads and FastPrep-24 homogenizer (MP Biomedicals, Santa Ana, CA). Total RNA was extracted using TRIzol (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA), followed by twice extraction with phenol:chloroform:isoamyl alcohol (25:24:1) and once with chloroform. Samples were subsequently treated with DNase I to eliminate the DNA. RNA-seq was performed by BGI (Shenzhen, China) using an Illumina HiSeqTM 2000 platform (Illumina, San Diego, CA).
