Title yellow skin color, 4 months old, biol rep 3
Sample type SRA

Source name celestial goldfish
Organism Carassius auratus
Characteristics tissue: skin
skin color: yellow
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol According to the instructions, skin tissue samples in three groups were taken, and the total RNA of each sample was extracted by RNA extraction kit (Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA).
RNA libraries for RNA-seq were prepared using SMARTER mRNA-Seq Library Prep Kit following manufacturer's protocols.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Description no
Data processing The original data was filtered by removing N-containing, jointed and low-quality reads, and the GC content
HISAT2 was used to align paired-end clean reads to the reference genome.
The mapped readings of each skin sample were put together using StringTie
new transcripts were annotated by Pfam, GO, KEGGand other databases
Using the Feature-Counts program, the readings mapped to each gene were calculated
Assembly: GCA_003368295.1
