Sample GSM6873789 Query DataSets for GSM6873789
Status Public on Jan 31, 2023
Title Telogen SHFs in February, male (bio rep 2)
Sample type SRA

Source name Secondary hair follicles from goat skin
Organism Capra hircus
Characteristics tissue: Secondary hair follicles from goat skin
Sex: male
age: 1.5 years
month: February
growth stage: Telogen
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was extracted from the secondary hair follicles using RNAiso Plus (TRIzol method, TaKaRa Bio, Dalian, China).
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Data processing Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and mapped to goat (Capra hircus) transcriptomes (GCF_001704415.1_ARS1) using Kallisto (v.0.46.1) with parameters -b 100. The gene abundances were obtained by kallisto-sleuth (v.0.30.0) pipeline in TPM (transcripts per million) (Bray NL et al. 2016).
Assembly: GCF_001704415.1_ARS1
Supplementary files format and content: tab-delimited text files include TPM values for each Sample
