Sample GSM6920864 Query DataSets for GSM6920864
Status Public on Dec 01, 2023
Title CON_TWO_SOL
Sample type SRA

Source name Soleus
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics tissue: Skeletal Muscle
conditions: Control
age: 2.5mo
Treatment protocol Adult mice (>2 months) were administered doxycycline to overexpress myc overnight and were harvested 12 hours after doxycycline was removed. Age-matched mice served as controls.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Soleus muscles were flash frozen in liquid nitrogen and RNA was isolated using TRIzol and the Zymo MicroPrep Kit and prepared for RNA-sequencing
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Data processing Sequenced reads were mapped to mm10 mouse genome assembly using STAR 2.7.8a with default parameters.
Aligned reads were quantified for gene counts, filtered to exclude genes with high noise or a maximum count of less than or equal to 50.
The filtered counts were median ratio normalized and tested for statistical significance using DESeq2.
All steps were performed using the Partek® Flow® Software.
Assembly: mm39
Supplementary files format and content: Matrix table with raw gene counts for every gene and every sample
