Growth protocol MEFs were grown in DMEM media (Sigma D5796) supplemented with 10% FBS (screened for low endotoxin; VWR 97068-085). After two passages, cells were harvested for RNA extraction. Standard culture at 37C, 5% CO2 in a humidified incubator.

Extraction protocol Total cellular RNA was prepared using the Quick-RNA microprep kit (Zymo Research).
