Treatment protocol Male rats were anesthetized, placed supine, and surgically assisted breathing with animal ventilator, and left thoracotomy was performed through a horizontal incision in the fourth intercostal space.
Ischemia (model rat) was observed when the left anterior descending (LAD) coronary artery was ligated around the PE-10 tube with moving nodule with 6-0 sutures, and occlusion of the left anterior descending coronary artery was confirmed by elevation of the ST segment of the electrocardiogram.
Growth protocol The rats were placed in a colony room with controlled temperature and humidity, where food and water were freely available in a 12-h light/dark cycle.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was harvested from the cells using Trizol reagent. TruSeq Stranded Total RNA Library Prep Kit was used for the construction of sequencing libraries.
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Data processing Paired-end sequencing was performed on cDNA library using Illumina instrument.
The qualified reads were mapped to Rat6 using STAR split mapping algorithm.
