Sample GSM7658913 Query DataSets for GSM7658913
Status Public on May 23, 2024
Title Astrocyte day21 rep1
Sample type SRA

Source name cerebral cortex
Organism Mus musculus
Characteristics tissue: cerebral cortex
cell type: Astrocyte
genotype: WT C57BL/6J
treatment: ischemic stroke
Treatment protocol The distal middle cerebral artery (MCA) was permanently ligated with 10-0 sutures followed by 7 min of occlusion of the bilateral common carotid artery (CCA). The sham control group only received skull surface lesions.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Astrocytes were isolated via FACS, and RNA was harvested using Qiagen RNeasy MinElute Cleanup Kit (Cat NO. 74104)
RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 4000

Data processing Illumina Casava1.8 software used for basecalling.
Sequenced reads were trimmed for adaptor sequence, and masked for low-complexity or low-quality sequence, then mapped to mm10 whole genome using bowtie v2.3.4.2
The read numbers of the corresponding genes were counted via HTSeq v0.6.1.
Assembly: mm10
Supplementary files format and content: tab-delimited text files includes raw conuts for each Sample
