Title Lm planktonic cells in cantaloupe juice, biolog rep 2, technical rep1
Sample type SRA

Source name planktonic cell
Organism Listeria monocytogenes
Characteristics agent: cantaloupe juice
cell type: planktonic cell
genotype: WT
Treatment protocol Planktonic cells were collected after 48h incubation and biofilm cells were harvested from stainless steel coupons after 3 days incubation via sonication.
Growth protocol Listeria monocytogenes FS2025 (serotype 1/2b, ST5, CC5) was grown in cantaloupe juice or TSB at 24C statically.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was harvested using Invitrogen RiboPure™ Bacteria Kit (ThermoFisher Scientific).
RNA libraries for RNA Seq were prepared using Illumina Stranded Total RNA Prep, Ligation with Ribo-Zero™ Plus kit following manufacturer's instructions.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina NextSeq 500

Data processing FastQC was used to check the quality of the sequence reads.
Read counts were generated using Salmon v1.9.0.
Supplementary files format and content: tab-delimited .sf files including raw counts and tpm values for each sample
