Extraction protocol |
RNA was isolated using the RNeasy mini kit (Qiagen, US) according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Libraries were prepared using the Universal Plus mRNA-seq protocol (Tecan) as recommended by the manufacturer. Libraries were quantified with NuQuant, quality checked using a TapeStation instrument (Agilent Technologies) and subjected to 52-bp paired-end sequencing on a NovaSeq 6000.

FASTQ-file generation and demultiplexing using bcl2fastq v. 2.20.0 STAR v2.7.2b was used to align sequence reads onto the GRCm38 mouse genome assembly, with the GENCODE version M25 gene model reads were summarized onto genes by featureCounts v1.6.2 with the same gene model as when mapping, counting only fragments where both ends of the fragment were aligned Assembly: mm10 Supplementary files format and content: featureCounts file containing gene-level mapped reads for the given sample
