treatment: G1 with light
Treatment protocol Ciprofloxacin-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa were mixed with PBS or G1, and then exposed to light to study the impact of NO release on bacterial gene expression through RNA sequencing.
Growth protocol Ciprofloxacin-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa cells were maintained with LB with 37 oC.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol The entire RNA was extracted using the TRIzol RNA Extraction Kit.

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2500

Data processing Differential expression analysis used the DESeq2 Bioconductor package, a model based on the negative binomial distribution. To control for false positives in the analysis, the p-values of the differentially expressed genes were adjusted using the Benjamini and Hochberg approach. In this analysis, genes with an adjusted p-value (Padj) < 0.05 were considered significantly differentially expressed. The GOSeq package (v1.34.1) was used to identify Gene Ontology (GO) terms that annotate a list of enriched genes with a significant p-value less than 0.05.
