Treatment protocol Wild type male C57BL/6J mice at 6 weeks of age were randomly assigned into two groups (normal diet or MCD groups). Mice were fed with normal diet (ND) or MCD for 20 weeks.
Growth protocol Mice were maintained at 19-25 ºC with 55 % ± 25 % humidity under a 14-hour light/10-hour dark cycle in specific-pathogen-free are.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol Total RNA was prepared from the liver of mice fed with ND or MCD by miRNeasy mini kit (QIAGEN, Hilden, Germany).
Label biotin
Label protocol Biotin-labeled RNA was generated with Flash-Tag Biotin HSR RNA Labeling Kit (ThermoFisher Scientific, MA, USA).
 
Hybridization protocol The biotin-labeled RNA was hybridized with a miRNA 4.1 Array Strip (ThermoFisher Scientific).
Scan protocol The array was scanned by the GeneAtlas system (Affymetrix, MA, USA) to measure the intensities of the microarray spots.
Data processing The intensities of the spots were analyzed by the Transcriptome Analysis Console (TAC) software (ThermoFisher Scientific).
processed data file contains avegae log2 RMA+DABG signal for ND and MCD with statistics.
