Label protocol Biotinylated cRNA were prepared according to the standard Affymetrix protocol from 6 ug total RNA (Expression Analysis Technical Manual, 2001, Affymetrix).
 
Hybridization protocol Affymetrix Fluidics Station 450 and Hybridization Oven 640 under standard conditions.
Scan protocol Image processing was conducted using the Affymetrix GeneArray 3000 scanner.
Description Gene expression data from late pregnant sow ovary
Data processing The data were analyzed with Microarray Suite version 5.0 (MAS 5.0) using Affymetrix default analysis settings and global scaling as normalization method. The trimmed mean target intensity of each array was arbitrarily set to 100. Knock out the smallest and biggst 2%, the average intensity for all the other probes on the array was scaled to 500.
