Extraction protocol |
Total RNA was extracted using the RNeasy Plus Mini Kit (Qiagen, UK) according to manufacturer’s protocol. RNA-seq libraries were prepared from 500ng of RNA using TruSeq stranded total RNA library preparation kit (Illumina) and barcoded libraries were combined and submitted for sequencing (paired-end 50 cycles on a HiSeq6000) by the Wellcome Trust-MRC institute of Metabolic Science Genomics Core Facility.
