Description Total RNA was extracted from the left kidneys (K) of two strains of Rattus norvegicus, Sprague Dawley (SD) and Dahl SS/Jr (SS). Each strain had two groups, rats under 0.3% NaCl Diet (B) and 8.0% NaCl Diet (H) for 10 days. Samples were labelled by strain (SD or SS), tissue (K), diet (B or H) and rat number (1 to 3), e.g. SD KB1 is RNA from the kidney of the first Sprague Dawley rat under 0.3% NaCl diet for 10 days.
