Cells were grown for 4 generations in 50ml cultures in YPD at 30°C to OD600nm of about 1. before NaCl was added to a final concentration of 0.4M. After 10, 20 and 30 minutes cells were harvested and immediately frozen.

Hybridization protocol |
325ng of both Cy3 and Cy5 labeled cRNA were hybridized to the S. cerevisiae AMADID GE 8x15K G4813A arrays. Samples were hybridized for 17 hours in G2545A Hybridization Oven.

Agilent G2565A Microarray Scanner System was used to scan the arrays.

Data processing |
Agilent Feature Extraction program (Version FE 10.5.1.1), separation of red and green gPS data for further evaluation. Features with signals below 100 units were discarded.
