Definition

Tuberculoma results from hematogenous spread of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M. tb) from an extracranial source. Diagnosis is based on computed tomography (CT) scan and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) studies with a similar ring-enhancing lesion. [from HPO]
