Definition

Elevated Hemidiaphragm is a condition where one portion of the diaphragm is higher than the other. Elevated hemidiaphragm occurs when one side of the diaphragm becomes weak from muscular disease or loss of innervation due to phrenic nerve injury. [from HPO]
