A rare secondary haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis characterised by occurring as either initial presentation of a malignant disease or at any stage during chemotherapy. The common associated malignancies are leukaemias, B-cell, T-cell or NK-cell lymphomas, and Hodgkin lymphoma.
