SRX19130311: target capture sequencing of mammalian digestive enzyme genes
1 ILLUMINA (NextSeq 500) run: 2.2M spots, 607.4M bases, 250.8Mb downloads

Design: Library preparation with the NEB Ultra II FS library kit, followed by capture using a custom-designed MyBaits v4 kit. Sequencing on one NextSeq 500 300 cycle mid output run (2x150 bp).

Study: Targeted sequencing of mammalian digestive enzyme genes
show Abstracthide Abstract
We used a custom myBaits target capture kit to sequence digestive enzyme genes in 56 species of mammals in order to understand niche differentiation and digestive adaptations to novel foods. Species include various rodents, marsupials, treeshrews, phyllostomid bats, and other neotropical mammals with specialized diets.
