Abstract: The sequence represents the genes expressed in three tissues from six sexually male Japanese quail (testis, foam gland, liver), which is a domesticated bird. Sequences derive from three different kinds of treatments -- males in breeding condition, males in winter condition, and males in winter condition that have been administered testosterone. This data set is useful to understand the evolution of male reproductive traits at the gene sequence level.
