Abstract: The American alligator, like all other crocodilians and many other reptiles, undergoes temperature-dependent sex determination, in which the incubation temperature of an egg determines its eventual sex. In this study, we sequence transcriptomes from gonad, adrenal, and mesonephros tissues of alligator embryos incubated at different temperatures for different lengths of time.
